Oh, I don't know how I let birthday 10 skip past me!!! I am guessing it was because we were moving into our new home. And here it is October...four months after your 11th birthday!
Well, you hit double digits...maybe that is why I didn't write a post. I may have been in denial of your hitting double digits. If you don't acknowledge something, it means it hasn't happened..right?
Well, you are turning into quite the young man. I can't believe that you have started middle school!! My first baby isn't such a baby anymore!! To celebrate entering into middle school, Dad took you on an overnight trip. You went to dinner and movies and then hung out at the hotel room. The next day, you got up and went to a botanical garden.
You continue to impress us with your knowledge of plants. You continue to do very well in school...math seems to be your strong subject. How you work problems in your head is beyond my comprehension! You have continued to grow in your musical abilities with the guitar. I love having the sound of music in our home!
We will eventually get some 11 year old photos on here. It just seems to be too hot to take outdoor pictures in June when it is your actually birthday month!
We love you and are SO thankful that you are a part of our family!
